cT is Back!

Ever since we decided to discontinue the cT model, following our move to Kazakhstan, we’ve been receiving numerous questions and requests over emails and on social media, asking to bring it back. The decision to stop the cT production was made to simplify things for our purchasing and manufacturing teams as they worked to establish logistics and operations in our new home. It’s all settled down now and by popular demand we are bringing the cT back!

For those unfamiliar, the cT is a Ural sidecar motorcycle built on a 1WD platform. Some might describe it as a Gear Up without the sidecar drive—and while the cT does share about 90% of its components with the Gear Up, its chassis design gives it distinct driving and handling characteristics.

The cT’s sidecar wheel is positioned a few inches further forward compared to the Gear Up, making left turns (for right-hand-drive setups) noticeably smoother than on 2WD models. Additionally, the sidecar tub on the cT sits level from front to rear, unlike the Gear Up. This reduces drag, resulting in lighter handling, particularly at highway speeds, faster acceleration, and overall a more stable ride.

With its 18” wheels, the cT sits closer to the ground, lowering the center of gravity. This enhances cornering confidence and improves braking performance. The result is a model, that many consider the best-handling Ural, perfect for both everyday commutes and weekend adventures.

And here’s the best part - the price: the cT starts at $17,499 MSRP*

*MSRP is for US Market and excludes freight, dealer setup, license, registration fees, and sales taxes where applicable. Canadian pricing and availability will be announced at a later date.

Configuration

cT will be coming with 2/3 solo seat, 18" wheels, Heidenau K-28 tires,  tonneau cover and floor mats for sidecar and the trunk, touch up paint and the traditional Ural tool kit. Everything else you can purchase later at your dealership, or from our web-shop, or order together with the bike at the time of placing the order.

Trans America Trail Adventure

Mike and Kipton Rogers took off on an adventure of a lifetime along the Trans America Trail, from Tennessee due West. Their trip updates, pictures and video clips are documented on Mike’s Facebook page. It’s wonderful and inspiring. We are humbled to witness beautiful father son memories being created in real time!

“We made it 230 miles to Westcliffe Colorado. We decided to take the “red loop” which is more challenging. Got rained on most of the day, hot down in the valley, but cold at elevation. With the rain we were freezing. Overheated the clutch and thought we were done but let it rest and all is good. We had a blast!”

The Ultimate Motorcycle Build program by our friends at Overland Expo, outfits a new motorcycle each year with the latest and greatest adventure gear to create a vision of the ultimate overland vehicle. This year they chose to look to the classic for inspiration - Ural Gear Up. We custom painted this Ural in Baikal Blue Metallic Satin, and Mark Tetreau of Kalabar Creations uplifted the bike using his own purpose build accessories as well as products from some incredible partners. My Ural Story: David Rogers

“I am a double widower.

So it’s me and Shilo with new Ural Expedition going on road trips and camping.

I am having fun.

1. Learning to ride a Ural after 40 years of expert MX racing all over Calif

2. Fixing up stuff to load on the Ural to go camping”

My New ‘24 Expedition with my best buddy Shilo

“I have a bad left leg so I was having trouble getting in my new Ural expedition. I finally figured out using passenger foot peg and pushing on seat with right arm made it a snap. I keep forgetting bike won’t tip over like a regular bike with kickstand. I love my new Expedition ‘24. Call Maddie at Rosso Corsa. She is the best sales person.”
